  13. composing and notation program for Macintosh®. MusicTime provides a fast, fun
  14. and creative way for users to play, compose, record and print out music on
  15. their Macintosh, much like a musical word processor.  Based on Passport's
  16. popular music publishing program Encore™, MusicTime is designed for  amateur
  17. musicians, music hobbyists and enthusiasts who want to create and print their
  18. own musical scores.

  20. MusicTime will record music played live on a MIDI-equipped musical instrument,
  21. and display it in standard musical notation on the computer screen. Users can
  22. also click music in with the mouse, or enter it one note at a time, from a
  23. synthesizer keyboard. Once music is recorded, users can easily edit their music
  24. using simple Cut-Copy-Paste, and click and drag techniques.  Musical
  25. symbols--notes, sharps, flats, and dozens of others--can be added, deleted,
  26. moved or placed on a score.  With MusicTime, users can easily  reposition
  27. notes, measures or sections of music, and modify any aspect of their music.

  29. MusicTime will also play music back through MIDI instruments exactly as it’s
  30. notated and is an ideal step up for Miracle Keyboard owners who have "learned
  31. to play" and are ready to compose their own music.

  33. MusicTime supports up to six musical staves. Users can automatically transpose
  34. their music for different instruments or change the key or tempo. Text and
  35. lyrics can be entered in any font, size or style.  Music can be viewed on the
  36. screen during playback to both hear and see mistakes. MusicTime imports
  37. standard MIDI files and can transcribe sequences from any Passport sequencer.

  39. MusicTime will print out clean, professional sheet music with the Adobe Sonata
  40. music font and a PostScript® Compatible printer or Apple Imagewriter™.
